Compass Mechanical Repair’s Background
Compass Mechanical Repair has its roots in the dedication and expertise of its founder, Joe. Joe’s journey began as a tank mechanic with the U.S. Army in the late ’90s, where he honed his skills in diesel. His experience expanded to include railroad maintenance equipment and underground mining equipment repair and eventually automotive diesel repair, giving him a diverse and robust background in diesel technology. In March 2016, Joe established Compass Mechanical Repair in a small shop at the back of his property. His wife, Staci, joined the business in September 2020, bringing additional support and growth to their venture. By March 2021, the business had outgrown its original location and moved to a larger facility in Sandpoint, Idaho. In May 2022, Joe and Staci purchased the property, expanding their repair facility from 2,500 square feet to a spacious 5,000 square feet. This growth reflects their commitment to providing exceptional service and expertise in diesel and automotive repair. We are currently located at 31497 ID-200 Unit B Sandpoint, Idaho 83864.
